6 of us classic car enthusiast’s take a trip each year in September to attend Circuit des Remparts Angouleme and each year it is harder to find accommodation that suits our needs and security for the classic cars.

By accident we came across Moulin Du Fontcourt and what a find it was……..We rented the whole house for the week - it had everything we needed, the security for the cars and the accommodation was second to none. The housekeeper provided lunches and had meals available for us and made our stay very comfortable.

The accommodation is about 25 min from our destination and the Town offered all we needed. The property at Moulin Du Fontcourt is immaculately clean and the surroundings meant we had a very tranquil, relaxing time while not at the show. We will be back at no hesitation.

The property was beautifully presented and had everything we needed. The surroundings are stunning and we couldn't fault the location. We ventured into Anglouleme and loved exploring the many bars and cafes.

Moulin du Fontcourt is a truly fantastic place to stay. I stayed for a week last summer and had a fabulous time. As a screenwriter I needed the right environment in which to work but also unwind and relax.

I was really pleased with the property, it has such a great atmosphere and the local town is so lovely and has some wonderful places to eat.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this property for anyone wanting a peaceful environment - it has such charm and the gardens are absolutely beautiful.

I had a very productive stay and will return in the future maybe with some colleagues so we can explore the region!

The Gite (riverside apartment) on its own, is available at a starting price of £700 per week (min one week stay).
