Moulin du Fontcourt is available all year round, and offers guests different experiences throughout the year whether you are looking to relax and unwind or if you’re looking for the perfect location for your offsite management meeting.
Our Riverside Gite, Kingfisher Room and Sparrow Room are all en-suite. Our Owl Room and Swallow Room share a bathroom. These two rooms can be turned into a family suite with a lobby door accessing this private area (for one family, with use of a private TV room)
Pricing & Contact Information
The entire property (including the Gite) is available at a starting price of £1,600 per week (min one week stay).
The house on its own (excluding the riverside apartment) is available at a starting price of £1,000 per week (min one week stay).
The Gite (riverside apartment) on its own, is available at a starting price of £700 per week (min one week stay).
The two accommodation types can can easily be connected for larger groups.

House Keeper

Pick up service
We are able to provide a pick up service from Limoges airport estimated at 50 Euros (each way) for a maximum of four people. Pick up from Angouleme station is 30 Euros each way.
Riverside Apartment
The Riverside Gite at Moulin du Fontcourt offers a luxurious retreat with its own private entrance that leads into a beautiful, spacious hallway bathed in natural light.
Off the hall, you’ll find a very large open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. Styled and furnished with love, this luxury gite is equipped to a high standard. The Main House
Moulin du Fontcourt has four large and beautifully presented double bedrooms and one master bedroom leading out on the raised veranda. Each of the rooms have been carefully curated to ensure guests enjoy a wonderful stay…
The Sparrow Room
This is situated on the first floor in the north east part of the building allowing it to be the coolest part of the home in the summer months, the room again is very bright and airy and has a king size bed, storage for clothes and is decorated and furnished to a high standard.
As you open the window you can hear the wonderful tranquil sound of the river, birds and wildlife. Close the window you hear nothing, the well-constructed design of the windows allows all unwanted noise to be kept out allowing you that peaceful nights sleep. (En-suite shower room).
The Owl Room
This bedroom faces North and is the coolest in the Summer months with 2 single beds. It is well equipped and on the 1st floor of the house it shares the bathroom with the Swallow room next door.
The windows open overlooking the river and give fantastic views of the bird life.
The Kingfisher Room
This is situated on the first floor and facing the front gardens and is a beautifully furnished room. With a double bed and all comforts of a 5* accommodation! The Kingfisher has a luxury ensuite.
The Swallow Room
The Swallow room overlooks the front of the mill and offers ensuite facility that the traveller will welcome after a long journey. The room has everything you need for a perfect stay and is fitted out to the highest quality.
All of the upstairs accommodation has the shared facility of a rest room, here you can watch tv, play music or just read a book on hand is the facility to make a drink.
