As well as taking time to enjoy the beautiful countryside with miles upon miles of vineyards and fields of glorious sunflowers, a visit to one of the many world famous Cognac houses is a must! We are situated just outside the edge of the golden triangle of the Grande Champagne, the heart of the wine growing area producing the best ‘cru’ or growth. Of the 6400 vineyards producing white wine for Cognac, the majority is sold to the major Cognac houses such as Hennessy, Martell and Remy Martin but there are also approximately 250 independent producers who offer visits and sell direct to clients. Remember to also take the opportunity to try the delicious local liqueur, Pineau, while you are here!
